What is well-being?

  • It is the "state in which the physical, mental, and spiritual health are in balance".

What is mindfulness?

  • Mindfulness has been defined as "a state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique". 

What is awareness?

  • Awareness is recognizing the thoughts, feelings, sensations and surroundings that may be experienced in a particular moment.

What is acceptance?

  • Acceptance is not passing judgement or being critical of those thoughts, feelings, sensations and surroundings in that moment and not comparing yourself to others.

What is the 'Mindful Moments' meditation?

  • The team at Enlightened Energies recognize the importance and impact of having a structured resource that cultivates the mindfulness in humans. This 'Mindful Moments' meditation consists of several secular and skillful activities, such as movement, breathwork, affirmation, visualization and reflection. This meditation will help to build a habit that will benefit them in multiple ways in people's well being and lifestyle.

 

EE APP

What is included in the first version of the EE meditation mobile app?

  • The first version of the meditation app that EE is developing will allow meditators to track their sessions using the Mindful Moments meditations, create their own meditations based on their needs, journal their thoughts and emotions, message other meditators, celebrate their meditation achievements, design community's challenges and groups, attend events, and view a playground full of tips/jokes/quotes and more!
  • EE app v1.0 will be launched in January 2023 in the Apple and Google app stores - stay tuned!

    How often are the 'special' meditations released?

    • There will be a minimum of 1 special meditation per month. You will also be able to see any upcoming special meditations that are planned for you inside the 'Discovery' section of the EE app.

    Can I choose the media type for the meditations?

    • When a Mindful Moment meditation is created in the EE app, you can choose from the following media types: audio only, Youtube video or unguided.
    • When meditators from the community create a meditation, you can choose the media type based on what they have added during the creation of the meditation.

    Can I upload an image or video in my journal entries?

    • Yes, you have the option to add these media types to your journal entries.

    Can I make my account private in the community?

    • By default, your account is public in the community. Other meditators will see your stats and customized meditations.
    • You have the option to make your account private by searching for your profile in the 'Community' section, and selecting the toggle to make your account private.
